Silicone

Silicone rubber is an elastomer composed of silicone. It is generally non-reactive, stable, and resistant to extreme environments and temperatures. Silicone rubbers are widely used in many industries including insulators, automotive parts, kitchen products, food storage products, baby products, apparels, and many more.

FORMING METHODS

Liquid injection molding

A silicone molding method where products require high precision such as seals, sealing membranes, electric connectors, infant products, medical applications and also kitchen goods.

Compressing molding

Compression molding is a widely-used method of manufacturing simple rubber/silicone parts. Imagine waffle-making machines where the rubber is placed into a mold cavity, then closed and heated to form.

Blow molding

Similar process as plastic blow molding. Silicone rubber is also widely-used in blow molding method to create a hollow part.
